These coats are all about the sensual feeling of cloth. Layers of organic cotton are quilted together to give a weight that moves with you, keeps you warm, and yet has a light feeling that can be worn over almost anything. These are coats that speak about everything we love about textiles — cloth, stitch, pattern, colour, and feeling.
THE JASMINE COAT
One of our favourite coats with a standing collar and beautiful drape and swing. This version features 5 layers of wonderfully soft organic cotton sewn together with long vertical lines of stitching. The hems are left raw. Hand-carved horn buttons down the front and deep side pockets.
THE HANDWOVEN QUILTED COAT
Three layers of lightweight handwoven cotton, quilted together. Naturally dyed hand woven cloth both inside and out, creating a reveal when you cuff a sleeve. An accentuated standing collar and an open front without closures.
