We are happy to pass on notice of this event from the Craft Council of British Columbia. Maiwa will support this event through the contribution of a table setting that will be auctioned. We encourage everyone who makes or loves craft to consider attending.

Love BC Contemporary Craft?

The Craft Council of BC is hosting their annual fundraising event in support of educational and regional programing for artists.

How? by throwing a fabulous Party and Craft Auction!

Come enjoy a Sunday afternoon dressed in 1920’s fair, while eating cake and sipping on Prohibition themed cocktails - mix up by a famous Vancouver bartender - listening & dancing to music performed by Jerry Boey & his Jazz Band and view some vintage B&W films.

Do you want to add to your current collection or find a new artist to be inspired by?

To get a sneak peak of the 74 amazing contemporary craft works that are featured in our silent auction or to start your bidding check out the CCBC website. www.craftcouncilbc.ca All the excitement will take place at the CBC “Black Box Studio” in downtown Vancouver on Sunday, September 18th from 2-5 in the afternoon.

Tickets will be sold for $50 and you will be eligible to receive a $30 tax receipt. If you are interested in purchasing a ticket for eight and receiving your eighth ticket for free, please contact info@craftcouncilbc.ca.
