Summer Threads — New Clothing — Artisan Cloth
Summer is a season we do very well! Our linen & cotton handweaves, flowing silks and bold block prints are a pleasure to wear — all natural fibres close to the skin.
Unlike industrial mills that produce thousands of metres of a single fabric, the weaving communities we work with create cloth on a much smaller scale. A single design may be woven in lengths of just 80 to 200 metres. This way of working means every season brings an extraordinary variety of textures, thread-dyed checks and stripes, subtle colour combinations, and distinctive weaves.
Rather than searching for endless uniformity, we celebrate this richness. Each cloth reflects the hands, choices, and traditions of the people who made it. Together, these small batches tell a much larger story — one of regional knowledge and skilled craftsmanship.
