Maiwa's editor and photographer, Tim McLaughlin has a solo exhibition opening next week at West Vancouver's Ferry Building Gallery. On exhibit will be 16 large-format portraits and selected smaller works. The exhibit runs until February 9th, 2014.

Opening reception: Tuesday January 28th 6-8pm.

The exhibition will also be the official launch for the hardcover book Portraits: Found and Taken.

Book launch & reading performance

 Thursday January 30th 7pm (with musical guest Sophia Danai).

Portraits: Found and Taken is a collection of over 75 portraits made over the past three years. The book includes three types of portraits: found, taken, and written. Preface by noted Vancouver writer, publisher and photographer Stephen Osborne.
