WEAVINGS FROM NAGALAND
These are cushion covers and table runners handwoven by artisans from Nagaland. In the farthest reaches of North-east India is Dimapur, a beautiful mountainous place bordered by Bhutan, Bangladesh and Myanmar. Nagaland is home to 16 hill tribes who weave their distinctive patterns and motifs on back-strap looms. These are contemporary tribal weavings. Read more about the Nagaland Weavers here.

HAND-STITCHED APPLIQUE
Each appliqué piece is one of a kind. They work well as bedspreads, table coverings or as curtains. Use them to tone down bright sunlight or to create a diaphanous separation between spaces. This hand-stitched appliqué is created by using two layers of medium-weight cotton. The design is cut on white fabric and appliquéd onto a natural base.
