This playful yet elegant yarn is handmade by a group of women in a village in Bengal, India. The women developed this idea because they hand weave cloth and thought it would fun to incorporate sequins into their weaving process for shawls and saris. When we saw the yarn we thought it was a fantastic idea and that weavers everywhere would love the unexpected sparkle.  

This yarn can be used in weaving, knitting, crocheting, jewellery making, sculpture, wrapping, knotting...the possibilities are endless.

The women create the yarn using a fine crochet hook, a cotton thread, and sequins - in stunning colour combinations.
