We have hand-picked a number of remarkable illustrated cabinets from India. The jewel in the crown of this recent collection is a piece that has been illustrated by Salman Chetan.
This piece shows a masterful collection of scenes with exquisite detail. Each panel of the cabinet has been hand-painted in the style of Indian miniatures. The brush-work and attention to detail is remarkable. There are hundreds of faces on this cabinet and each one is unique. This cabinet features paintings on the sides, front doors, and inside panels of the doors. There are scenes of celebration including a depiction of the Holi festival of colour.
Approx. 76" tall, 48" wide and 18" deep.
